The Construction & Engineering division was established in 2002 and the first project undertaken was the for the design, construction and supervision for water supply works to the northern region of the Central Kedah Water Supply Scheme for RM120 million. It is currently operated at a design capacity of 55 million litres per day and it supplies water to the vicinity of the Central Kedah areas including to Yan and Sarang Semut.
Following the successful completion of the project, Taliworks secured the Padang Terap Water Supply Project in Kedah in August 2006 for RM149 million. The project encompasses a water treatment plant with a capacity of 50 million litres per day. It was implemented on a turnkey design-and-build basis to be completed within 30 months.
In August 2011, Taliworks was awarded the sub-contract works in relation to the Mengkuang Dam Expansion Project in Pulau Pinang for RM339 million and the project is expected to be completed by 2016.
